DRAW is a must-see exhibition featuring original drawings from over 300 vanguard artists in the urban, tattoo, design, illustration, skateboard, and music worlds. The show is a tribute to the often-underrated but fundamental building-block of visual and graphic art: the drawing.
The following is just a sample of the artists whose work is included in the show: Moby, Barry McGee, HR Giger, Clive Barker, Gibby Haynes, Ron English, Kat Von D, Tim Biskup, Ben Cho, David Ellis, Mark Gonzales, Derek, Hess, Rich Jacobs, KAWS, NeckFace, Rick Griffin, Vaughn Bode, Hank Williams III, Kerry King of Slayer, WK Interact, Chris Johanson, Aurel Schmidt, Kathy Grason, Jeff Ladouceur, Gordon Hull, Doze Green, Chris Johanson, Dalek and David Choe.
DRAW is the largest modern drawing exhibition ever to emerge out of New York's Lower East Village, debuting in October 2007 at Fuse Gallery (Lower East Side's leading modern pop and underground art gallery).
The exhibition made a huge mark with it's New York launch, followed by a smashing response at the SXSW 2007 festival in Austin.
Galleries from across the Atlantic and Pacific have been calling to host the show and now DRAW is invading London at StolenSpace gallery from 6th to 23rd March 2008.
DRAW is curated by Erik Foss and Curse Mackey and co-curated by Jamie O'Shea Tim Barber, Sto ‘Cinders Gallery’, Damian Wiencrants, Jacaber Castor and Mike Aho.
StolenSpace will also be bringing some of it’s own and other leading UK urban artists to participate in the exhibition, so watch this space…
