Japan-based illustrator and artist Jun Oson has a distinctive style, specialising in a graphic, vibrant pop designs inspired by manga and animé. Regarding his paintings created for the Platinum show:
"The culture of your country, the punks, has affected us far away.
We received them with longing. And that spirit has taken root in us in a different form."
