This painting is based on a pair of trees found in a friend's garden in Poland, a place I visit regularly. In Poland there are a lot of very tall trees and they are a source of a lot of my inspiration! This painting mainly focused on the two central trees plays on matchmaking in three ways. Firstly with the two canvas placed together, another with the central branch "hugging" the trees together and also the third is the reflection element. They intertwine as if in an endless embrace.
