"These are the two trees I see while I wait at my bus stop. They are not the sort of trees you notice day-to-day as they are fairly regular. They are situated in a grey, concrete, urban landscape. I aimed to give them a fresh lease of life and purpose. Ultimately celebrating their long lives together with only each other for company. This is the second time I have painted these two trees, the first was during early spring and this version has been painted during the summer."
